Lots of Cam Locks

There is about 2 hours of putting this thing together. There are many cam locks which work good but should they manufacture the main items with hinges instead it would be easier to put together and still be shipped in a flat box. I broke the lock putting it together so will not be using the lockable door. I know a sheet of paper is expensive but couldn't you add one more sheet giving a larger vewi of putting the hinges and lock together?
