The base and reading shelf are manufactured for style and durability from black high-density polyethylene (a plastic also found in the marine industry). The Sipping Seattle Java formica panels easily snap into channels in the black anodized aluminum sides.
The UL rated 50 watt portable stereo amplifier shipped with these podiums is ideal for areas up to 10,000 sq. ft. The wired microphone has a 15 ft. cord and is mounted to a flexible gooseneck. The wireless handheld microphone option gives your speaker the freedom to move around and can be used in conjunction with the included wired microphone. The wireless lapel microphone option frees up your speaker's hands and can be used in conjunction with the included wired microphone.The full range 6" x 8" speaker projects your presentation for all to hear and the easy, no tool assembly will have you presenting in minutes.
We recommend the use of the environment friendly NICAD rechargeable battery pack and/or the AMPAC AC adaptor to power your amplifier. The reusable NiCad battery pack provides up to 20 hours of cordless power and requires the AMPAC for charging. The AMPAC provides for unlimited power from a standard AC outlet. The amplifier also can be powered by 10 D-Cell batteries (not included). Both the AMPAC and the NICAD are sold separately.
